When we think of the art of perfumery, France immediately comes to mind, boasting a centuries-old tradition in the field. Few know that it was introduced by an Italian named Renato Bianco, renamed René le Florentin in France, a master perfumer who arrived at the Parisian court in 1533 in the entourage of Catherine de' Medici, wife of the Duke of Orleans, the future king of France. This candle, with its essential oils, can be used to combat depression, stress, and relieve tension. It helps reduce agitation, instilling the right amount of serenity and calm.

Legend has it that Renato Bianco was a foundling raised in a convent by friars. As a boy, he learned the basics of medicinal herbs. He later served as assistant to an alchemist friar, who initiated him into the secrets of herbal distillation. Upon the master's death, Renato Bianco remained the sole custodian of this art in the convent, and Catherine de' Medici, fascinated by his mastery, appointed him her perfumer.

He had created a water based on citrus fruits and bergamot essence; Caterina was so attached to his fragrance that she brought with her to Paris, in addition to her perfumed water, her trusted perfumer Renato Bianco, who, immediately renamed René le Florentin, achieved enormous success.
