OUR STORY

Erbe Spezie Firenze was founded in the heart of Florence as an authentic expression of Italian tradition linked to wellness, supplements, herbal teas, natural cosmetics, and the art of perfumery.

Completely Made in Italy, the brand's roots lie in the historical Florentine culture of medicinal herbs, aromatic spices, and natural essences, elements that have accompanied humankind for centuries in caring for the body and spirit.

The deep traces left in Florence by the "Medieval Corporation of Medicinal Herbs and Spices," with its production of medicines, poultices, ointments, cosmetics, perfumes, and essences, reached its peak in the late Middle Ages with the publication of the so-called "Florentine Recipe Book," a compendium of preparations extracted from plants, destined to influence all subsequent Italian and foreign research, and a progenitor of contemporary natural cosmetics.

Cosmetics thus began its transformation from medieval alchemy to modern natural cosmetics. As early as the 16th century, our Catherine de' Medici, an expert in cosmetic formulations and natural essence blends, exported and introduced these preparations to European courts.

This rediscovered memory, with a particular focus on ecology, has pushed us further towards in-depth research into the plants and aromas that nature provides us, leading to the creation of the "Erbe Spezie Firenze" brand.

Supported by modern scientific and technological research, while maintaining a handcrafted dimension to optimize products, "Erbe Spezie Firenze" offers high-quality production to meet increasingly demanding needs in terms of effectiveness and safety.

Nature, innovation, and creativity, to achieve the utmost attention to personal care, with body and face products, and at the same time, with our perfumes, offer a moment of pause, almost ethereal, to remember places and people and provide new enchanting emotions.

“For a moment I gazed into the distance, at the horizon, the sky seemed to touch the earth and I noticed, where the iridescent sun stood out, that connecting such beauty was the lush vegetation... and an immense love filled my heart”
