Already in the 15th century, Florence was a renowned center for the art of perfumery. Noble ladies used rare essences created by alchemist friars, while Catherine de' Medici , a Florentine by birth, brought Tuscan perfumery to the French court with her celebrated personal perfumer, Renato Bianco , known in Paris as René le Florentin.

Today, that tradition continues with the unique creations of Erbe Spezie: natural, elegant and sustainable solid perfumes and fragrances, produced in small batches, with selected ingredients and artisanal processes.
